Directions
Prep 🥒
Preheat the oven to 400F
Wash and cut the potato into quarters lengthwise, then slice each quarter to make 3 steak fries.
Transfer to a mixing bowl along with half of the canola oil and a pinch of Balinese Truffle Salt. Toss to coat.
Spray the lined sheet trays with pan spray. Line the steak fries on the trays, leaving space between each fry.
Transfer to the oven to bake, rotating every 15 minutes, until cooked through and crispy, about 45 minutes in total.
Make the special sauce by first chopping up the pickles. Place the chopped pickles, ketchup, and mayonnaise into a small mixing bowl and mix together. Season with a pinch of Balinese Truffle Salt.
Form the burgers into 4 patties.
How to Cook 🍳
Toast the buns in the toaster or place them into the oven for 3-5 minutes.
To cook the burgers, heat the saute pan over medium high heat. Add the oil to the pan and heat it until shimmering.
Once the oil is hot, season the burger patties on all sides with Balinese Truffle Salt and add them to the pan. Once the burgers are in the pan, turn the heat down to medium.
Cook the burgers, turning them from time to time, for 5-6 minutes or until medium. If you want your burger cooked through, cook them for about 8 minutes.
Right before the burgers are finished, top each burger with a slice of cheese. Turn the heat off and put a lid on top of the pan for 30 seconds, just to melt the cheese a little bit.
Slather the toasted buns with special sauce, top them with a melty burger, and add as many toppings to your burger as you want. Serve the burgers alongside the crispy oven fries and make sure to save some special sauce for the fries!!
